Netball kitbag

Choose kit that’s comfortable and lets you move without being too baggy. You’ll be playing inside most of the time so keep the temperature down with fabrics that keep you cool.

  Clothing

A short sleeved t-shirt and shorts or netball skirt are ideal with a pair of tracksuit bottoms if you prefer - just not too long or you will trip over them! Don’t forget a sweatshirt or hoodie to keep you snug on the way home, especially in the winter.

Sports bra

Netball is a high impact activity, so for women, wearing a well fitting sports bra will make playing more comfortable and prevent any bounce!

Socks and trainers

Lace up trainers provide the best support for your feet with a good grip on the sole and around your toes will stop your foot from slipping and sliding. Prevent blisters by wearing socks - cotton sport socks are best as they absorb sweat and help to keep your feet dry.

Coloured bib

Team kit or coloured bibs make sure you throw the ball to someone on your team and not the opposition! If you are playing for a team then they will probably have some sort of 'kit' for games.
